Celebrathing Halloween

With Halloween only a week away I find myself wondering how I am going to acknowledge and celebrate Halloween.

Halloween is celebrated in New Zealand to a small extent but Trickle Treating is not very common where I live, in fact in the 6 years I have lived at my house I have never once had someone come to my door during Halloween.

This year I have decided I want to celebrate Halloween with Ella, I have been coming up with some idea's to celebrate Halloween that don't involve Trickle Treating.

1. A Halloween Scavenger Hunt:
Hide candy around your home and yard,
Put up some simple Halloween decorations,
Write out clues that correspond with the Halloween decorations,
As a family everyone gets dressed up,
Than have fun, make memories and find the Candy!
Home Decoration Kit 21 Pieces from The Warehouse would be perfect for this idea.

2. A Spooky Halloween Dinner:
Decorate you dinner table and dinning room with spooky decorations,
Turn to Pinterest for some Spooky Dinner Idea's,
and as a family everyone gets dressed up and enjoys a deliciously spooky meal together.
I love these Sugar Skull Candy Products from www.poprocparties.co.nz

 3.A Halloween Movie Marathon
Such a Simple but Fun Idea!
Dress up in a comfortable onsie,
Set up a table with pop corn, carrot/celery sticks with Dip and Candy,
Everyone choses a scary movie to watch,
and snuggles down on the lounge and enjoy the movies together.
